When my husband had his heart attack on the farm, it took a while for EMT to get to the farm, I was doing CPR until they got there. When we reached the hospital, he was pronounced dead after 1/2 hour in ER. He had wanted to be an organ donor but when I talked with the doctor, he said none of his organs would be useful...only skin could be used...I refused to give OK for his skin...bones were never mentioned..

Yes they are. EVERYTHING is considered “organs” to the industry.
