It is becoming quite clear that the USA is less democratic each day.

It’s becoming MORE democratic every day, and less “constitutional republic”.

There is little Constitutional republic left in this country. The will and the vote of the people AKA democracy is rapidly declining. EPA, DOJ, Irs, NSA... are all working against the will of the people and are installing anti democratic laws to gain iron handed control of the people.

I’ll venture that most of the voting public doesn’t understand the difference between a democracy and a republic. When it comes to voting in the US, I’d be in favor of:

1) A short current events test. On-the-street interviews (e.g., Jay Leno) suggest most people have no clue what they are voting for.

2) If you don’t pay any federal taxes, no voting in federal elections. Same for state and local, although almost everyone gets hit with property, income, and sales taxes either directly or indirectly.

Yeah, I know there’s no chance, but I’m tired of deadbeats and other non-productive members of this Republic determining its direction. Other than buying votes with my tax dollars, what’s the justification for free cell phones? It’s stupid.
