The only good thing I could see from an Amendments Convention dedicated to the consideration of a balanced budget amendment is that it would permit the states to set the ground rules and establish the precedents for a future convention dedicated to Mark Levin's proposed amendments as delineated in Georgia's application language. A smaller convention would still the fear of an Amendments Convention that plagues so many who haven't studied the subject.
