There was a pretty large outbreak of food poisoning in the Midwest a year or two ago. It was known to government early on it was from packaged prepared salads. The source was kept secret so that simple folk wouldn’t be afraid to eat their fresh veggies.
That got me once. I spent three days in hell as a result. Got to know my toilet better than I ever thought I would.
I was a victim of this one myself. It felt like I ate a box of rocks. Will never eat at another Olive Garden again.
