The M-4 Sherman was 33 tons, the new M-26 Pershing 46 tons.
I didn’t notice any comments from Patton on Pershings.
Sounds to me like the few Pershings we had were kicking butts and taking names. Even head to head with the best tanks the Germans had.
Probably too new.
