Most of us who regularly stand in supermarket lines behind these jag-offs can tell you that roughly two out of three of them buy stuff we can't afford and a good share of those drive off in cars we can't afford either.

I try very hard to avoid shopping near the first few days of the month to avoid at least some of this crowd.

Exactly. They will buy for daily meals what most other people buy as a special meal.
