One think tank proposal was to take decommissioned nuclear subs, essentially beach them and generate desalinized water from the reactor. That as opposed to dismantling them then storing the reactor parts.
What a cool sight that could be, a series of them in a row...
I wonder what the capacity would be, if it would be feasible.
