You misread it, as do all the lib screamers.
Serving a sinner food is not a violation of any Christian morals - Jesus did it.
Participating in a gay “wedding” does for some. A wedding is a sacred Christian covenant. Gay “weddings” make a mockery of that sacred covenant. Christians should not participate in such mockeries.
Serving food, repairing cars, selling goods - there are very few instances in business where Christian morals are violated by serving a gay customer, or any other customer. But there is an obvious difference between most commerce and participating in a wedding.
So you’re saying that because it’s a wedding, then it’s the wedding that’s the problem. BUT, if the same bunch of gays have a party next week, all of them celebrating Gay Pride Week at someone’s house ... making a bunch of Pizzas for them, and delivering it to their Gay Pride Week Party is no problem!?
SORRY ... but that would be a BIG PROBLEM for me! And that’s why Christian businesses SHOULD BE PROTECTED so they are NOT FORCED in violating their deeply-held religious beliefs.
Thank you for speaking to the point being missed most everywhere else.
If you engage in For Profit commerce with the general public, you have obligations to the general public interest.
If the general public belches up some single individual that wants to harass you by force and cause you to have to participate at or in an event or “ceremony” that is forbidden by your religion, you simply have a right to protest in court on religious protection grounds, should the belchee individual make a legal fuss against you.
Denying services in or at your establishment isn’t going to cut it, just because we are have alternate views on morals and politics. Nope, that won’t cut it.
