Tiresome? You get tired listening to the Israelis defend themselves? What part of “destruction of Israel” is hard for you to understand. If two of your neighbors were discussing burning down your house I betcha you would exercise some hubris and try to get into the conversation. No? Just let ‘em burn it?

Bonehead will fund whatever Obama wants whenever he wants. His speeches seem nice but underneath is the funding.

Yes, tiresome. But not because the world is growing weary of Israelis defending themselves. Tiresome because it's the same speech, the same strategy --and Israel's response can be summed up in one word: "No!".

Look what's happening among Western Leaders. They're no longer listening to Netanyahu. This is dangerous for Israel.

I am wondering out loud if it isn't time for Netanyahu, on behalf of Israel, to offer more than "no". Perhaps it is time for some behind the scenes diplomacy--where Netanyahu may offer something in return for the diminishment of this threat to Israel's survival.

As I said, I'm wondering out loud if a change in strategy might not be more helpful to Israel than the current one. There's no reason to take offense or fear such a question. The question is a healthy one.

Thanks.

Is he saying he’s ready to go to war to stop this? Is he ready to go down this path alone?

Have you not been paying attention?

Yes, I’ve been paying attention to this for years and years—which is why I ask the question.

Just what alternative strategy would you suggest?

I wish I knew. Some movement to a resolution on the West Bank and Gaza may be helpful. It’s a lot for Israel to even consider but it may be the lesser of two evils, with more security resting in a non-nuclear Iran.

But, hey, I’m pretty good at raising questions. As for the answers, I’m open to any suggestion. :-)

I just know this strategy is not succeeding and it may alienate Israel from her Western allies. Both concern me.

Israel is tired too.

Sitting peacefully and minding its own business, its been attacked 7 seven times since 1948.

The Jordanians got 72% of the land. There are 20 other Arab countries. Can’t the people of the Bible settle on their own land and live in peace. Oh no , Muslims must own it all, kill all the infidels like they Kill Copts, and others that ain’t Muslims.

Blame the tiniest country and its small population?

So why is Syria, Yemen, Jordan, Iraq, Libya, India, Afghanistan deep in wars, is it the Israelis?

No Israeli is involved anywhere in this, in fact Mazen and Arafat both turned down 95% of what they asked for, they rejected peace, because they won’t recognize the Jews right to exist. That is Hubris.

There is no point in compromising with someone
who is determined to kill you.
Israel must bide her time at present, but
they cannot afford to be struck first and
their history reflects this.

Ams Yisrael Chai!

The people of Israel LIVE!

Iran brags it will only take on nuke to wipe out the Jews.

They don’t care about the collateral damage, the 2 million non Jews who are citizens of Israel, the PLO and Hamas that live so close if an Israeli farts they feel the wind.
And what about the Jordanians and Egyptians they may not die in the blast but for sure the Radiation will kill many.

These madmen must be stopped. And you know they will use more than one nuke against Israel, just to make sure to get the job done.

WWIII, the Saudis don’t like the Israelis but Saudi Arabia isn’t going to wait for their turn to be attacked by Iran.

Oh, wait, the Israelis may have a doomsday plan. Them Jews didn’t win all those Nobel prizes for being stupid.
Israel has hundreds of nukes that they never used going back to the 1980’s. Israel’s doomsday plan must be Armageddon incarnate.

It’s what the Mullahs want, it’s time we gave it to them.
We owe them that much.

Bibi's full statement might help you to get it...you seem to want a full surrender by Israel, not gonna happen and glad of it. As to them not being a party to the negotiations, did Jonny boy invite Netanyahu to the table, if so I missed it. Benjamin Netanyahu - בנימין נתניהו I just came from a meeting of the Israeli cabinet. We discussed the proposed framework for a deal with Iran. The cabinet is united in strongly opposing the proposed deal. This deal would pose a grave danger to the region and to the world and would threaten the very survival of the State of Israel. The deal would not shut down a single nuclear facility in Iran, would not destroy a single centrifuge in Iran and will not stop R&D on Iran's advanced centrifuges. On the contrary. The deal would legitimize Iran's illegal nuclear program. It would leave Iran with a vast nuclear infrastructure. A vast nuclear infrastructure remains in place. The deal would lift sanctions almost immediately and this at the very time that Iran is stepping up its aggression and terror in the region and beyond the region. In a few years, the deal would remove the restrictions on Iran's nuclear program, enabling Iran to have a massive enrichment capacity that it could use to produce many nuclear bombs within a matter of months. The deal would greatly bolster Iran's economy. It would give Iran thereby tremendous means to propel its aggression and terrorism throughout the Middle East. Such a deal does not block Iran's path to the bomb. Such a deal paves Iran's path to the bomb. And it might very well spark a nuclear arms race throughout the Middle East and it would greatly increase the risks of terrible war. Now, some say that the only alternative to this bad deal is war. That's not true. There is a third alternative – standing firm, increasing the pressure on Iran until a good deal is achieved. And finally let me say one more thing. Iran is a regime that openly calls for Israel's destruction and openly and actively works towards that end. Just two days ago, in the midst of the negotiations in Lausanne, the commander of the Basij security forces in Iran said this: "The destruction of Israel is non-negotiable." Well, I want to make clear to all. The survival of Israel is non-negotiable. Israel will not accept an agreement which allows a country that vows to annihilate us to develop nuclear weapons, period. In addition, Israel demands that any final agreement with Iran will include a clear and unambiguous Iranian recognition of Israel's right to exist.

As usual BB says things in a crystal clear manner, and he does so without a teleprompter.

Israel could take on Iran by herself, but, when push comes to shove I am sure Egypt and Saudi Arabia will put aside differences to help Israel. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Israel has hundred of Nuke bombs, and the Saudis don’t stay awake at night worrying about Israel using them. Egypt and Jordan have had unviolated peace with Israel since Carter, Begin and Sadat signed the Camp David accords.

BB is a career 4 time PM, not once did he start a war.
Its Iran who is made up of the lunatic fringe.

What kind of hold does Obama have over the Republicans in Congress, that they are unwilling to challenge his positions and actions?

Does he have blackmail files on each of them?

GOP is afraid of being called racists. That is why I want Ted Cruz to name Col. Alan West his VP pick. Jews are up for grabs because of Obama’s treatment of Israel, and I think since economically blacks have been sold out for the Mexican Illegals vote by the Dems that the GOP could get up to 20% of the black vote in 2016. Rand Paul thinks this too.

..."IRAN (or any other Muslim country) is never going to say Israel has a right to exist"....

How can there be agreements regarding Israel when most Muslim nations don’t recognize the very people they are supposed to be arranging deals with?

.... so all peace agreements or deals with these nations will be dead in the water because the Muslim nations simply want more of Israeli land ...bit by bit chopping on it's borders until they can push them out.....it's not about peace...it's about land confiscation until Israel can be pushed into the sea.

And .. they want to confiscate the land because it was the land GOD gave to Abraham; land the Arabs believe is rightfully theirs. It’s not; but most people don’t understand the history so the Arabic nations continue to lie about it.
