In a race to see who can cave the fastest, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson reneged on his promise to sign his state’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), instead sending it back to state legislators with a request to “recall it and change the language.” Perhaps he was upset that Indiana Governor Mike Pence was getting all the attention for wimping out on his own state’s religious freedom protections. Why should Republicans cave once when they can cave twice? Clearly, the beatings have been effective.
The brouhaha in Arkansas stems from the RFRA bill that passed the legislature on Tuesday and dares to assert, “[N]o human authority can, in any case or manner whatsoever, control or interfere with the right of conscience.” Furthermore, the state “shall not substantially burden a person’s right to exercise of religion … unless it is demonstrated that applying the substantial burden … (1) Is essential to further a compelling governmental interest; and (2) Is the least restrictive means of furthering that compelling governmental interest.”

As a nation we have turned our back on God and now Lucifer’s demons have been unleashed from hell on earth to persecute us. These wretched lost souls would love to bring back the good old days when the pagans tortured and killed Christians in the Roman arenas for sport. Hell hath no fury like a liberal/homo scorned.
Christians no doubt thought they were making a stand when they turned out and voted for these two sterling examples of leadership.
Now, having been stabbed in the back by one and watching the other transform to Jello on live TV, they are likely still in shock.
In a few days, they will pick up the banner and carry on, knowing that the issues confronting the US today are too critical to entrust to politicians that will throw their constituents down the stairs the first time someone says “Boo!”.
And what is wrong with our American homelysexuals? Why do they need so much attention? Why don’t they just do whatever they want to with their body parts and shut up about it?

I and this family will not shut up, nor do we ever accept your lifestyle. This country was founded on religious freedom and it is high time you remembered that.
Forcing others who follow THEIR religion to accept YOUR lifestyle is not religious freedom nor is it freedom. It is bigotry, hatred, and intolerance what you are showing and the more you force people the more this family will never accept or respect you..
They, the left, think we’re the ones wearing brown shirts with cross armbands. They’re completely wrong of course, but if one truly believes Christians are evil haters, the outrage is understandable.
We, of course, know the left is ridiculously ignorant about so many things, including Christianity. They are ignorant, but even worse, they don’t want to be educated. We are reaching a point where it’s impossible to even reason with them, because we aren’t even speaking the same language. Tolerance means intolerance. Liberty means enslavement. It’s positively Orwellian!
In my lifetime, I saw Nazis march through Skokie, a Jewish neighborhood. Why? Back then we believed in liberty, even for people who held opposite views. That’s the ideal America once stood for.
I totally agree, but this battle was fought and lost during the Civil Rights era. There were some misguided Christians (and others) back then who believed it was OK to treat blacks poorly. We tossed the US Constitution in order to fix that problem, setting precedent for far worse government intrusions now.
There is no solution to the homosexual problem by the way. One cannot be Christian and believe homosexual acts (sin) are OK. On the other hand, one cannot be a sexually amoral leftist, believe homosexuality is praiseworthy, and allow “bigots and haters” to abuse said homosexuals. With diametrically opposed views like these, and no tolerance for dissent from the left, there can be no peace.
The left only cares about liberty, religious or otherwise, when it serves their interests.
Socialism... These hypocrites know they are going to hell in a hand basket and they want us to carry their liability, that they also keep being homosexual but also in our names, forcing us to sin.
