Since many customers left a generous tips because they felt sorry for the lowly paid workers, I would expect that with the higher wages the tips will be less generous.

As I said, much less generous for us, as in 0. And, in a way, good for them too, as I no longer need to factor-in the cost of the tips when deciding whether going to a place to eat out is worth it...so I’m more like to go out.
