I could be wrong, but I don’t that is the screw, rather I think those act as dive planes and rudders.

What you are seeing is the aft stabilizers and hydroplanes. The propeller is shrouded.

The prop blades are shrouded to protect against any nicks and to avoid giving away any information about the acoustic characteristics of the boat's drive train.
