I have been watching the songs and dances going on in Washington for years. At times there seemed something was happening for the Nation and then it all came to a hollow sound. I now believe that all of Issa’s hearings and bluster was just that because he was told how far he could take his committee before some stories ‘true or not’ would pop up in the press. He clammed up with a weak deceptive explanation that he and his committee had gone as far as intended. I have had the same gut feeling about Goudy and his committee. Damned be it with the people we are Washington.
