That is why training is needed to take over the gut emotional reaction of force.

It is easy to see people resort to violence over a stupid parking space at the mall.

Now, throw in a violent confrontation with another individual. The emotions at times cloud judgement, by both men. People decided to flee or fight.

Training tempers such reactions, and create 'logical'[SOP's, don't shoot fleeing person] responses.

Honestly if I saw that taser coming at me I would run also. It would be involuntary. I can’t even imagine getting tasered.
