There was a time when at least some liberals were people of integrity: Harry Truman, Adlai Stevenson, Estes Kefauver, Dean Rusk, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Margaret Chase Smith. I cannot think of one today. And as for the other side? There are some senators such as Cruz and Lee, some governors such as Walker and Haley, and a handful of Representatives. Perhaps we are growing a crop of future politicians of integrity in the state legislatures; I certainly hope so.

Those were old time Democrats, I don’t think any of them deserves to be compared to the current crop of bums.
