Just because the public has not been told what else occurred, does not mean there is no more evidence.
Anyone not directly involved in the investigation thinking they “know all” in this case is delusional.
There is no more evidence. They have all they’re going to get on this. They can even count the seconds from the traffic stop and when the suspect left the video field of view until shots fired. And that’s not much time at all. I’d guess 15 seconds. My point is them releasing the officers statement is not going to change anything at this stage of the game unless someone plan’s on changing it prior to it’s release.
So you understand I never once I implied or suggested I “know all” regarding their internal investigation. I don’t.
I have instead several times commented that I have no idea what the officer picked up, dropped, and then picked up another object. This was only after others commented they were convinced the officer was intentionally planting or moving evidence.
I like to keep my comments focused on what we do know.
BTW interesting monicker you have there.
One more thing Xpert, that's not what I suggested they do. I was referring to the officer's statement being released. That's a done deal and won't change. Or shouldn't.
