Walker kicked the crap out of Dems on issue after issue in a purple state.
It wasn't 'no opposition' Texas or Alabama, it was WI.
He invaded Dems territory and beat the crap out of them.
He had plenty of RINOS to deal with, but he showed them how to win against Dems.
Winners get followers and recruits.
IMHO, what characterizes Walker's politics is that he's not a "showboater."
He just goes in full-bore to do the necessary job....and seems to care less if he gets the credit.

He didn't even beat them. McConnell and Grahamnesty got re-elected.
More-so, Cruz lost every fight he started with DEMs too, I mean lost every-one, that's 100% record.
That makes me very nervous.
I want to see these arrogant Dems brought to their knees and Walker has stood above the others in showing that he knows how to do that.

His big lie claiming that illegals applying would be cut off from all government handouts during the 10 years has ruled him out for me.
I still recall his deceit on this issue:

All 2 of them. You can’t beat the Establishment Republicans on their own turf. They are in complete control of the House & Senate. As POTUS, you can push them around. Look what Reagan did to Dole, when Dole told him that he couldn’t get his agenda through the Senate?

McConnell and Graham were reelected at the filing deadline when no opponent capable of beating either filed to run. McConnell was opposed by a Paulbot clown (who ironically didn’t have the backing of Rand Paul, McConnell’s new buddy) and Graham by a collection of nobodies.
McCon would be very very hard to beat, but I believe a real opponent (like a member of the House delegation) could have bested Graham.
