this is the only thing it’s managed to contribute...thus far....other than headaches and heartbreak.

The governments answer from the local school district to the Feds is more money, like you can buy your way out of stupid.

All by design I’m quite sure.

Have the evil degenerate subhumans at the IRS stopped giving bonuses to themselves?

IRS Commissioner John Koskinen said in an email to employees that bonuses were an appropriate way for taxpayers to reward the agency that polices them. "I believe that rewarding our high-performing employees is a vital investment for our nation's tax system," he said.

Almost every douchebag that works for them gets a "Bonus".

Meanwhile in the private sector, the "Bonus" is being phased out wholesale, as millions of MBA's trying to justify their existence constantly look for new ways to chisel benefits and perks from employees.

NOT A SINGLE GODDAMNED FEDERAL EMPLOYEE SHOULD EVER BE ELIGIBLE FOR A BONUS.

They are stealing our money at gunpoint and giving themselves BONUSES?

Tick Tock.

I waited almost an hour to talk to an agent. Guess I’m lucky I wasn’t a “courtesy disconnect”.

I just can’t sympathize with people who wait ‘til the last moment to start preparing their tax returns.

I order my paper forms and instructions on-line in mid-Jan. from irs.gov. I receive all my income and interest data by end of Jan. I then begin drafting my tax return, so if a question arises I can get clarification a couple of months before the deadline. ....I still don’t mail the return until a day or two before the deadline, since I have to pay every year (no mortgage since 2013, so only std.deduct.).

And, from past year stories, those who answer your tax questions are just as apt to give you wrong information as correct info.

Most of the tax programs are pretty good - surely good enough for those of us who actually might feel the need to ask a silly question or two instead of having our lawyers/CPAs do it for us...
