Daniel Pipes Explains the ‘Obama Doctrine’ in One Sentence

Actually, this interview is more than 18 minutes long, but that once sentence is easy to remember:

“Snarl at your friends, smile at your enemies.”

Dr. Pipes tells TheRebel.media’s Ezra Levant (who he was pretty impressed with…) that “doctrine” is a slight exaggeration since much of what’s been happening around the world can be explained by sheer incompetence on the president’s part.

He adds, however, that a lot of these foreign policy “blunders” are intentional.

They’re the direct result of Obama’s anti-American ideology — and even his personal psychology.

You have it all wrong. If, as you say, Obama is a muslim trying to destroy the US, you are wasting your time trying to classify him as either a sunni or shia.

Instead, if Obama is a muslim, then his role would be to unify the sunni and shia against the US and the West.

Saladin was the last man to unify sunni and shia and drive the Crusaders out.

It is possible that ValJar and Obama are both Shi’ite. Valerie Jarrett was born in Iran. Obama has ties to Indonesia when he was 6-10 years old. Indonesia is mostly Sunni but has a very small Shia population.
