Impressive. Is that a stylized Order of the Arrow symbol on the wall in back of him?

Perhaps is is simply an archery award. In any case, a very well spoken and thoughtful kid. For him to speak his mind takes courage.

As I remember, it's the Cub Scout WEBELOS (Wolf Bear, Lion, Scout) symbol.

It is worn as a patch above the heart.

I believe it was the only symbol that carried over from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts and beyond.
