A Syrian doctor who treated victims from half a dozen attacks over the past month, Mohammad Tennari was helped out of the country by the United States, which arranged for the closed-door briefing. He is the first witness to describe the attacks.

He showed a video of a suspected chlorine attack on March 16 in his town of Sarmin in Idlib province, with images of three children, ages 1 through 3, dying despite attempts to resuscitate them. The medical area was so cramped that one of the children was lying on top of their grandmother, who also died.

“Everyone smelled bleach-like odors” and the sound of helicopter could be heard, Tennari later told reporters after showing them the video. He said most of the victims were women and children

Hmm. Looks like those WMDs the liberals insist have never existed made their way from Iraq to Syria. We know the Syrians didn’t produce chemical gas, certainly not on the level of their usage.

If I remember correctly, chlorine gas was the first poison gas used in WW1.

It’s easily produced and may be available to the Isis creeps from water purification plants.

Definitely low tech and not a complex modern toxic.

But Obama thinks we should definitely let ISIS take over Syria.

Unfortunately phosgene is easily produced by combining simple and readily available chemicals.

I know the feeling...popped open my clorine tablets container for the pool...the wind caught the fumes just right and and I snorted a nice big whiff...

I just about collapsed and coughed my lungs out for hours...

Took a few days to fully clear my lungs...

Nasty stuff for sure...

One time I accidentally mixed two common drain cleaners in a garage laundry sink, to clear a blockage. Acrid fumes started pouring out. I quickly opened all the doors and windows and got my family out of the house at some distance, and waited for some time for the cloud to dissipate. I learned a lesson, to check the ingredients labels before using drain cleaners! Chlorine gas is nasty!
