40 million is certainly a lot but it isn’t even a “P” in the pool compared to Hillary’s billions from the world power brokers.

There is a thing about talking and doing.

Could, can, should, might - what the hell ever. Put up or shut up and show me the money. FEC rules will kick in soon and they'll HAVE to report then, so until then, at least say "he got" not "he could."

Rubio is afflicted with the deadly “Geraldo Rivera Genome”.

He often seems to be reasonable and sensible until the subject of illegal immigration arises.

The Cheap Labor Express will spend whatever it takes to make sure we cannot elect a President who would stop the invasion/cheap labor importation that they like to call immigration.

The primary focus of both political parties is not the citizens and their well-being. It is to keep the flow of cheap labor and cheap votes coming across our border.

Looks like Marco is being annointed as the RINO of choice by the amnesty loving Chamber of Commerce types. Jeb is too cold mashed potatoes.

I’m 54 and have lived in Fla. since 1969, Seen a lot of politicians come and go here. Had high hopes for this boy at one time, but no more. He ain’t it......at least not right now.

Perhaps the conservative label on MR’s forehead will slip enough that he turns out to be running for Bush’s constituency to help balance the horde of candidates running for the non Bush votes. The conservatives are likely to add up their 5 to 15 %s to equal 75% of the total and lose to Bush’s 20%. That is how Mrs. Bill will win the election should she receive the Democrat nomination. The Republicans, as usual, put up a Corporatist Progressive and lose to whatever Democrat is running.

“Looks like Marco is being annointed as the RINO of choice by the amnesty loving Chamber of Commerce types.”

Exactly. Dig a little deeper into who those Chamber types are. They have their little clubs in every decent sized city across the nation, and when they pool their resources together, unbeknownst to the majority of its members, the Grand Pobah’s decide who gets to play and who doesn’t. Our job is to ensure that it isn’t Marco’s “turn” just because they said so.

A Republican may loose to a Democrat, but that does not mean that the establishment jerks loose. They put up their guys in BOTH party’s.

All this election money goes right to the media owners. They don’t care who wins as long as we keep holding elections. Twenty plus republican candidates makes for a booming media market.

Rubio has $40 million.

hmmm.

I wonder how much of that is hype to overshadow Cruz having $34 million last week?

[That sounded skeptical. I have been reading/listening to media too much. Does that report have a Brian Williams byline?]

At the time he was born, neither of his parents were citizens.

I have a problem with that in the qualification arena.

Nice, clean cut guy...but vague in everything I've heard...

The Republican doesn’t “loose” to anyone. Loose is not a verb and wouldn’t make sense in that sentence if it were.

At the end of the day I don’t think Rubio’s got the sand to hang with the likes of Ted Cruz and Scott Walker, I think either one will mop the floor with him in a debate......and looks like we’re gonna find out.

this is just the ante. To stay in the game they’re going to need much much more, and then the herd will thin out...

exactly.

Basically ONE Billionaire coughed up (or promised to cough up) $40 million so Rubio could appear to be as strongly supported as Cruz.

While Cruz got donations from millions of supporters.

Yep.

He shot himself in the foot when he joined the "Gang of 8" and tried to stuff "Comprehensive" immigration reform down our throats.
