Ft Sam now has a gate and you’re required to show ID. For years traffic went right through the middle of it. Randolph and Lackland are secure as well.
Yeah, I know. I was surprised last time I went there to see the entire post fenced in required a pass to get on. it was completely open when I was there. I remember at Randolph you could go right up to theearea near the flightline and look at the T 37’s and 38’s without any security.
