Every country has the right to accept only those immigrants it deems necessary to benefit the country. They are not obliged let in everyone just because they want to live there.

If Australia (or any country) deems me unworthy to live in (or even visit) their fine country, that is their right. They owe me nothing.

Every country has the right

Countries, nations, other groups - they don't have rights. They have powers and authorities. It's not a petty distinction. To believe so is to welcome tyranny, enslavement, oligarchy, etc without justification or possible defense, because it concedes the premise that the group is your equal or superior.

If the Europeans want to allow foreign invaders free run of their countries, that's their business - oh wait, I forgot, they don't have any choice - the EU appropriated their sovereignty and they only have a token say in guilting the oligarchy's decisions.

And that's why the Dems and GOP-E think the EU is superior.
