Climate change group praises Jeb Bush for 'leadership'

Jeb Bush on Friday in New Hampshire called for the U.S. "to work with the rest of the world to negotiate a way to reduce carbon emissions.”

The remarks at a "Politics & Eggs" event brought praise from billionaire Tom Steyer's group NextGen Climate, which has spent millions in recent elections blasting Republicans on climate change.

"Jeb Bush demonstrated leadership today on the issue of climate change—distancing himself from the other Republican presidential hopefuls and demonstrating why climate change doesn’t have to be a partisan issue," the group said in an email to reporters. "Today in New Hampshire, Bush expressed his concern about the fact that the climate is changing and pledged to “to work with the rest of the world to negotiate a way to reduce carbon emissions. This is a critical step forward for the Republican candidate, but it can only be the beginning if America hopes to truly lead the world in combating climate change once and for all. In the coming weeks, we urge Jeb Bush to outline his specific plan to reduce carbon emissions and tackle the greatest challenge of our generation. Providing strong solutions to reduce carbon emissions will not only mitigate the impacts of climate change but also strengthen our economy and create good-paying jobs across the country."

This is nothing shocking here, but I post it on FR so that it may be picked up to be used elsewhere. Jeb Bush must be exposed and defeated before we ever get a chance at HRC.

Another globalist dingbat!

Please tell us, Jeb, where is the Smoking Hot Spot?

No smoking hot spot

1. The greenhouse signature is missing. We have been looking and measuring for years, and cannot find it.

Each possible cause of global warming has a different pattern of where in the planet the warming occurs first and the most. The signature of an increased greenhouse effect is a hot spot about 10km up in the atmosphere over the tropics. We have been measuring the atmosphere for decades using radiosondes: weather balloons with thermometers that radio back the temperature as the balloon ascends through the atmosphere. They show no hot spot. Whatsoever.

If there is no hot spot then an increased greenhouse effect is not the cause of global warming. So we know for sure that carbon emissions are not a significant cause of the global warming. If we had found the greenhouse signature then I would be an alarmist again.

While we must take care of the environment, the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to decide policy for PC climate change issues. As a former governor who has sworn to protect and defend the Constitution, Bush should know that what he needs needs to do if he wants the feds to have the constitutional authority to regulate environmental policy for the states is the following.

Bush must encourage Congress to propose a climate change amendment to the Constitution to the states. And if the states choose to ratify Bush’s amendment then the feds will have the constitutional authority that they need to regulate intrastate environmental issues and Bush will be a hero.

Once again, Jebbie gets a chance to mess up, hunts up the biggest punch bowl he can find, and pisses into it. Mitt I could stand. If the GOP nominates this piece of scum, I’ll vote third party.
