Better yet….did you know that the worthless Job Corp Centers that LBJ funded in his disastrous War on Poverty are STILL in operation? Every time we pass the one near San Marcos, TX, it amazes me that anyone would send their child to such a dead end place….paid for by we, the tax drones, of course.
My company used to use Job Corps graduates, but over the years, their product has gotten PROGRESSIVELY worse!
Two years ago, my company was in BAD need of employees to man jobs, so we picked up eleven graduates from the San Marcos Job Corps. Within two weeks, we only had ONE left, and he is still with us.
That is NOT a good ratio, so this year, being short of people, we did NOT visit the Job Corps center. We have finally (thank God), written them off for GOOD!
