I’m a progressive Catholic who longs for a church that is more welcoming of women, Seems to me she should just join a church that already shares her viewpoint instead of expecting the Catholic Church to come into line with her. Just like every other liberal, the world needs to change for them.

The Anglican/Episcopal Church has everything she wants, including --- so I'm told --- lesbian bishops. Why doesn't she convert?

Go join what church? It takes faith to found your own, or stick with one that you have good faith in succeeding. AFAIK, those people who want to be like the other churches clearly demonstrate by their actions that they do not have much faith in their beliefs.
