The whole point of this piece is that GA Republicans now accept same-sex marriage, or at least the ones coming up buy into it. So too bad for any of you Mesozoic types who have some problem with it.

Stop voting for and contributing to the campaigns of politicians who will not stand for the right principles. That is the sure way of correcting this lack of a spine.

And of course set aside the moral aspects of the question, such as should the state reward people for entering into unhealthy relationships? I mean physically unhealthy relationships. More than half of new hiv cases are among homosexuals.

Josh McCoon, whom I am proud to have as my state Senator, is not at all Mesozoic. Is hardly an oldster, much less Mesozoic.

I am so glad to be a conservative and not a Republican. I am so happy not to care if it goes the way of the whigs

No need for the party to turn “anti-gay”, just acknowledge there is an objective difference between male-female pairing vs male-male / female-female pairings ... that being the tendency to reproduce (and the interest society & state have therein), vs the utter impossibility for the latter to.

I think that, in the end, the government shouldnt be whats dictating the definition of marriage. . . . In the end, everyone needs to be welcomed. I dont think the Republican Party needs to come across as anti-homosexual or anti-gay. I think thats not a good idea. Sorry Johnson. God already dictated the definition of marriage. And you're never going to change it. All you're going to do is destroy your country, your party, and yourself.
