Bill Clinton’s High Price [defensible greed]

"In a Hillary Clinton campaign—not to mention a Hillary Clinton administration—her husband is a tremendous asset, someone who could help make the difference in a close election, or give valuable advice to a first-term president.

....But there’s a cost to flying with Bill Clinton; you also have to carry his baggage.....

....(NYT) published its first take on Schweizer’s material:a long report on a Canadian uranium company whose principals gave huge sums to the Clinton Foundation while the State Department evaluated a deal to sell the company to a Russian energy firm. Overall,the foundation took millions of dollars from seven foreign governments while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state,breaking a deal with the White House to disentangle the foundation from foreign donors. ....reported by Reuters:“Hillary Clinton’s family’s charities are refiling at least five annual tax returns after a Reuters review found errors in how they reported donations from governments,and said they may audit other Clinton Foundation returns in case of other errors.”.....

With that said,there’s no evidence of wrongdoing or illegal behavior. Hillary Clinton wasn’t involved in the review of the sale—which involved the State Department as well as eight other agencies.... But while there’s no smoking gun, it’s hard to escape the sense that the Clintons are following their old pattern: walking to the edge of the ethical line, and probably not crossing it.

...To an extent, this is defensible.....To a large degree, this is just how the world of the hyper-wealthy works. It’s unseemly, and...it looks “greedy.”

It is greedy.

It is not defensible.

It has crossed the line.

It is unethical, there is no "probably not" about it.

It is illegal.

This cannot be describe as "errors" or "mistakes."

Bill is the "Baggage?" Hillary Clinton turned $1000 into $100,000 back in her 1978 futures and commodities speculation days. So don't give us that "Bill did it" bs.

The Clintons (who would be kings and "champion" the poor and middle class) have always acted on their belief that they're entitled and above the law, unanswerable to us peons as they sell off America's assets, national security and international reputation.

They've never produced anything; they've always found it's more lucrative to profit from their positions of power.

Now we're told that "mistakes were made" - that there's "no smoking gun" - "no evidence" (again), that this is just how the Clintons (run-of-the mill occupiers of the hyper-wealthy world) operate.

This is how they've done it all along, so it's time to move on. They're refiling 5 years of tax returns, so just move on.

Sure it's greedy, but it was Bill's greed.

So don't punish Hillary; and since Bill will be such an asset to her campaign and presidency, don't punish him.

The Left is rotten to the core. They rode into this political box canyon with their eyes wide open.

They own Hillary and Bill Clinton.

America needs to wake up and run from these grifters and their enablers - the Democratic Party.

Insightful observers have noted that it’s practically "impossible" to identify a direct quid pro quo. B/c while Hillary was Secy of State, foreign funny money was moving around from hand to hand with big money deals approved which she could say were going to be approved anyway......at the same time, foreign money was flowing into the "charitable do-gooder" Clinton Foundation, not into Hillary’s personal bank account.....

REALITY CHECK---The Clinton Foundation's foreign money deals are reprehensible----but the real crimes are what they do with corporate/foreign monies once its in the Foundation's tax-exempt coffers.

EXHIBIT ONE--Dec 05, 2011---Fox News: Bill Clinton Reaped Big Bucks from Corzine Firm Before Collapse---MF Global Employee Links Clinton to Bankrupt Firm

A former MF Global employee accused former president Bill Clinton of collecting $50,000 per month through his Teneo advisory firm in the months before the brokerage careened towards its Halloween filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, reports Human Events.

Teneo was hired by MF Global’s former CEO Jon S. Corzine to improve his image and to enhance his connections with Clinton’s political family, said the employee, who asked that his name be withheld because he feared retribution, according to Hum/Events.

The Teneo contract with MF Global lasted at least five months, the souce said. “The board cancelled it after Corzine resigned.” The source, who is no longer associated with MF Global, said Teneo is a dual-track company with one side devoted to merchant and investment banking and the other side set up to provide image and strategy consulting services.

Clinton is the chairman of the company’s advisory board, reports Hum/Events.

EXHIBIT TWO--Then-Secy of State Hillary gave her close aide, Huma Abedin, “State Dept special status".....Abedin was working for Hillary at State....... AND simultaneously working for Bill Clinton, as a private contractor for his company, Teneo Holdings.

Abedin, reportedly had private email addresses on the Clinton email server system (underlining Democrats' greatest fear: the intersection of undisclosed foreign donations to the Clinton Foundation and Hillary Clinton’s secret email address. Huma Abedin's sweetheart deal: (1) an outside private six-figure consultant at the State Department, and, (2) “special government employee” status, and worked a sideline---as a private contractor.

One of Huma's clients was Bill Clinton's Company----Teneo Holdings----self-described as a dual-track political/banking consulting firm that calls itself the “next chapter in strategic advisory.”

EXHIBIT THREE---An earlier NYT's expose tarred Bill Clinton w/ Teneo's sub rosa dealings. Teneo is run by Clinton aide---Doug Band. Prosecutors found Band and Clinton listed in pedophile's Jeffry Epsteiin's records as having a shocking 21 email addresses and tele nos. Can you say money laundering? L/E recognizes multiple phone nos and email as the classic MO for money- laundering and tax evasion.

EXHIBIT FOUR--Chelsea's husband runs a hedge fund that gained access to investors who had ties to the Clintons---even as reports surfaced that Mezvinsky's hedge fund had "underwhelming" returns.

The WSJ reports extensively on the fund's underperformance since its inception. Also reported was Mezvinsky's mediocre investing and strategizing. Back in 2011, Mezvinsky, now 37, and two former Goldman Sachs colleagues — Bennett Grau and Mark Mallon — began raising money for Mezvinsky's Eaglevale Partners LP hedge fund. Some of Eaglevale's investors included Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein. Blankfein, a slavish Democrat supporter, said he had "always been a fan of Hillary Clinton."
