I don’t think she has a chance at this point, which makes me think she is a diversion.

Hillary is too damaged by scandal on top of being just unlikeable. If you have enough money, you can convince the average person that 1+1=3. Hillary has enough money. Is she willing to spend it? I think so. Because if she wins, she'll be able to get that money back, times ten.
