In years past, many gays and lesbians entered into heterosexual marriages because it was the thing to do. They had children who did benefit from a mother and a father. I wonder if gays and lesbians would consider heterosexual marriages to complete themselves. Children do deserve a mother AND a father. And most children who have come out of unions where one spouse was gay/lesbian are adults with heterosexual desires. I don’t know the answer for people like this man, but the weight of the argument should always skew to ‘doing what’s right for the kids’. Period.
I would bet that less than 20% of Americans today would agree with that. Maybe not even 10%. That's how far we have fallen.

Heck both “families” could buy one half of the same duplex and knock a hole inthe wall too. better than the current toxic environemtn of two man haters or two women haters raising a child causes a lot of pycholiogical harm.
