I just hope they are ready for the rioting, burning, and looting nationwide if they rule in favor of gay marriage.

It will be made legal. They are just pretending to give it some thought.

Scalia and Thomas will vote as the conservative faction of the Court, Alito will likely join them. Roberts is harder to predict.

Doesn’t matter how they rule. If they rule that marriage is man and woman...and no other, Obama will simply pick up his magic pen and give the homos his blessing.

They just ruled in the Defense of Marriage case that the Federal Government CANNOT define marriage on it’s own. They must accept same sex marriages from states that marry them. If that is true then why does the Federal Government NOW deciding that it CAN define what marriage is. What about states that offer two types of marriage certs: Traditional vs Non-Traditional. They are both marriages? The problem is that forcing a SINGLE DEFINITION among the entire country will not be received well. Last Count there are only 4 states that voted to allow same sex marriage. All the others have been FORCED by the Federal Government. It took a constitutional amendment to disallow slavery, suffrage, prohibition, and even selection process for Senators as well as term limits for the POTUS. I feen an amendment is due now Nationally. I am wishing it goes 5-4 against gay marriage. Kennedy is a BIG States right guy. He wrote the opinion stated above that the FED CANNOT define marriage.

That’s good what Roberts said, right?

Until he decides that homosexual marriage can be considered a tax on traditional marriage....

Most welcome. Yeah waiting on Appellate decisions, esp SCOTUS, is just downright nerve wracking.
