Don’t forget the mint juleps!
I have a friend who grew up in Arkansas. Her mom taught us how to make mint juleps. She stressed its important to make CERTAIN that your bourbon is FRESH. You MUST test it. Repeatedly.
I use this same “testing” process while giving out Halloween candy. These things can go stale in an instant, so it’s good to stay on top with quality assurance.
