If I’m a business owner in Baltimogadishu, I’m not sure who I should be most pissed off at:
the Obama Supporters— a demographic that has repeatedly played into the hands of its most virulent opponents by reinforcing every single strereotype leveled against them;
the cops— whom the Obama Supporters blamed, but who also sure as hell didn’t respond to emergency calls for assistance by business owners. I don’t want to hear sh*t from the cops about pension funding levels if I’m a business owner caught up in the 2015 Batlimore Performance Art Street Festival.
or the idiot mayor, with her call for “room to destroy”. I actually give her a bit of a pass because she is elected by the Obama Supporters and needs the support of the police union at election time. so the Obama supporters got what they wanted— apparently bulk lots of free paper towels? — and the cops got what they wanted— to not have to get mixed up in the middle of a racially sensitive episode. And the mayor blessed off on it, with a complete disregard for the one group in the whole incident that actually pays taxes.

The mayor forced the Baltimore PD to stand down while the hoodlums (and that’s a nice term for them!) looted and destroyed property around Baltimore. She should quit as soon as possible.
I have run the numbers thru the supercomputers here at the compound, and based on the prevailing “narrative is more important than the facts” Social Justice/Progressive mindset, the likelihood of a black female mayor of a 65% black city with 50 years of Democrat government having to resign for incompetent, malice, or any other parameter whatsoever is statistically zero.
If they catch her smoking crack in a motel room with a male prostitute the odds go up slightly.
That is her stepping stone for her future. How could you want to take that away? /sarcasm
When Philadelphia mayor Wilson Goode had the police drop an explosive device on the rooftop of the building in which the radical group MOVE was barracaded, igniting the gas cans stored there in plain sight and setting off a conflagration which burned down a whole neighborhood, he didn’t resign. He finished his term. This is how this stuff goes in the city. There is simply no level of incompetence that will see a major city mayor step down.
I’d prefer that all LIBs and their supporters go into exile.
