To prove the point that they ARE the good cops and that the community is chaos without them.

So, to prove the point that they are the good cops, they should walk off the job in solidarity with the bad cops? That makes no sense to me.
Not all cops were arrested, just the ones who mistreated and falsely arrested someone. Should cops be able to arrest anyone they want? Or go against department policy with impunity? Of course not!
