This is good news for the conservative movement, but is it good for Ted Cruz to know he has little backing from the business community in his own state. I did not vote for Cornyn this cycle because of his backstabbing ways with Cruz, stopping Obamascare, and blaming the government shutdown on Cruz.
I will not support the RNC, the Chamber of Commerce, or its membership to the best of my ability.

“The general feeling among Texas companies,” said a Washington lobbyist for a large Texas company, who spoke only on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue, “is that no one can get anything out of that office unless it means an ideological agenda.”

*********
Translation of “ideological agenda”—— the constitution, the law, and not surrendering the public interests to the vested interests.

As one article earlier this week put it TRUST is the word and Cruz has mine.
If we can’t get this man elected we have lost our best last chance. Pray God will have mercy on America one last time before He destroys us.

If our nations’s Founders were suddenly brought back to life, I believe Ted Cruz would fit their description of a Public Servant in government. Behind closed doors, out of the public eye is where a man's integrity is truly revealed.

“I’ve never heard any of my colleagues [pull out a wad of cash and] say, ‘I’ve got a problem and I’m going to Sen. Cruz,’ ” said Hector De Leon, an Austin-based lawyer who’s a Republican. “My experience and others’ I know is if you want some constituent service done, you [pull out a wad of cash and] go to Cornyn’s office,

When one businessman with 500 employees said he’d have to lay off one-third of his workforce...

< snip >

Without it, he said, a quarter of the 270 employees would be “at risk.”

< snip >

If the role of FedGov was supposed to be keeping jobs, then President Reagan would never have fired the striking air traffic controllers.

I don't want to see anyone lose a job, but, if the only way these folks can keep their jobs is at taxpayer expense, and they're in the private sector, that says something about how well their employer is addressing a market that really exists absent the subsidy or guaranty.
