Our Freeper, Rusty0604, who was there, said they had to leave their concealed handguns in their car since it was in a school - they were told to leave them in the car.
How about that? Rusty was stuck in the building with no weapon and there were terrorists outside, ready to shoot him when he walked out the door. He said to me he would have been out the door in two minutes, when the shooting started. He missed being shot by two minutes and would have been a sitting duck since he couldn’t have his weapon with him.
As soon as Gov. Abbott signs an open carry gun bill, I imagine terrorists would think twice about attacking those with weapons visible - however, if, in certain buildings, you have to leave it in your car, you will be dead.
