Earlier today the police approached a man on the street in Baltimore suspected of carrying a firearm. Before the police could reach him the man took off running. During the pursuit the suspects handgun either fell, or was dropped, as he fled. The suspects gun went off when it hit the ground. Fortunately no-one was hit by the discharge. The man was tackled by the chasing officers and then, out of an abundance of caution, transported via ambulance.
No police officer fired their weapons. No-one was shot. The only firearm discharge was from the fleeing suspect as his firearm hit the ground.
Now watch this video of how a female “eye-witness”, injected her perception of the event, and quickly reported it to the media and enraged the community. Passionate, angry, tearful and adamant about what she witnessed.

This is why eye witness testimony is often unreliable. People see what they want to see.
Is she reporting what she thinks she saw, or is she just flat out lying through her teeth?
Listened to that on Satellite radio. Incredible and so full of BS. Someone could have been killed by her outrageous claims. Too bad no good recourse.

She said she would not believe police no matter what explanation they gave. One wonders whether she would even now insist they shot an unarmed, fleeing man in the back as she avowed (she did much more than allege).

I know I don’t like being lumped in with white liberals cuz I’m white, or that we all think alike cause we’re white, or men, etc.
It is an important distinction because there are decent (too small, would love to see a lot more of them) conservatives that are black, asian, mexican, especially outside the urban areas. Would really love to have more of them because they are invested in the communities and are the job providers and are the role models and aren’t totally fixated on race and gimmie-sh1t mentaities.
