Clinton Close to Most Republicans in Arizona [Walker leads conservative field, Bush struggles]
Public Policy Polling ^ | May 7, 2015

".....We also tested Walker against all of the other potential Democratic candidates, and he leads them by wide margins. He's up 15 on both Lincoln Chafee (41/26) and Bernie Sanders (43/28), and 18 on both Martin O'Malley (43/25) and Jim Webb (44/26). Those large deficits are largely a function of the candidates' name recognition- because it's so low, only 53-58% of Democrats even commit to voting for those folks against Walker in a general election. But at any rate Clinton is by far and away the strongest candidate for the general in the Democratic field.

The Republican primary field in Arizona is a jumbled mess, as it is most places, with 5 different candidates polling in double digits but none of them getting more than 16%. Scott Walker leads the way with that 16% followed by Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio at 14%, Rand Paul and Ben Carson at 11%, Ted Cruz at 9%, Chris Christie and Mike Huckabee at 5%, and Rick Perry at 2%.

Walker leads the field thanks to his strong support from voters who identify themselves as 'very conservative.' He gets 32% with Carson, Cruz, and Paul all tying for second back at 11%. Walker is only third with 'somewhat conservative' voters and 8th with moderates, but the strong support on the right gives him the slight overall lead.

Even though Walker's in first place by a negligible amount this poll might be most encouraging for Rubio. His 61% favorability rating is the best in the field by a large margin- Huckabee at 52% has the next best rating. Rubio is also the most frequently named second choice among Republicans in the state- overall 32% of GOP voters say he's their first or second choice with Walker at 29% and Bush at 24%.

The Arizona Republican numbers also continue several other trends we've seen in our recent polling. Chris Christie is extremely unpopular with GOP primary voters- only 22% have a favorable opinion of him to 42% with a negative one. And Jeb Bush continues to struggle with voters identifying themselves as 'very conservative'- he's in 6th place with them for the nomination and has only a 39/38 favorability rating......" Continued

Your PRO-AMNESTY Candidate, Scott Walker, is PROVED to be TALKING OUT OF BOTHS SIDES OF THE ISSUE (you CAN NOT TRUST him).
Watch the videos and READ the article from HOT AIR, most certainly not on your list of band-sources.

Source: In short, I don't know and I don't care what SELLOUT Walker says or does about Ted Cruz's plan.
Walker works for the "ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS" now, and I will vote AGAINST Walker.

The establishment crowd don't have to "warm up" to Cruz, there's nothing about him they need to change.

That H1-B stuff was his wink and nod to them so they'll see if a few bucks will buy them anything from Walker who is in reality far more Conservative and less "pragmatic" than Cruz so it looks like Cruz had some opposition but they'll put the real money they intend to pour out behind Cruz. Just a matter of time and whether or not it's obvious right away.

Walker went toe to toe with the vested interests everyone said no one could ever challenge, never gave an inch, and won. Cruz gives a good speech.

Cruz is the only choice ? Fine, when people who vote for Cruz are more pissed off and pissed on than the people who voted for Dub ever were I suppose you can post under another name to avoid embarrassment.

Those are not MY WORDS.
I said :
It's MOST CERTAINLY NOT a "wink and nod to them" .
TED CRUZ is all about LEGAL IMMIGRATION, and NOT about destroying the laws that protect our borders.
I think you'd better read CRUZ's amendment proposal again.
Walker is going to turn out just like Rubio, a total SELLOUT, when it comes to Immigration and AMNESTY !

"ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS"SHALL NOT PASS !

That comment reminds me of reading "Pooh" to my children, the part about Pooh being a bear of little brain.

Having already destroyed good paying blue collar jobs with the horde from Mexico King Barry has allowed in, the next frontier is destroying the remaining middle class jobs most of which require some skill that the money crowd can claim is in short supply. I'm being told what Walker "will do" and yet what Cruz has clearly already done is ignored.

"Establishment" money going to Walker is trying to buy his going along with what Cruz already accepts about immigration and a boatload of other issues so Cruz won't have a clear opponent in Walker.

Pooh, however, surely wouldn't see that because he is a bear of little brain.

“....I’m being told what Walker “will do” and yet what Cruz has clearly already done is ignored.”

Please expand on this comparison.

Gov Walker hasn’t declared as a candidate (waiting for 2015-17 state budget to be passed, and signed), as has Sen. Cruz, and yet Walker has remained near or at the top of most polls.

"Walker is going to turn out just like Rubio, a total SELLOUT, when it comes to Immigration and AMNESTY !"

For context, above is the relevant portion of the comment to which I responded.

Walker may or may not do this, that, or the other with regard to Immigration should he declare his candidacy. Cruz, however, has clearly stated that he supports increasing the number of H1-B Visas five fold and it is in skilled jobs that the next battle is being fought.

Conservatives, however, always anxious to close the barn door after the horse is long gone, are fighting the last battle in spite of having already lost it to King Barry and the millions upon millions of Mexicans already in the country.

Healing the damage from the huge influx of illegals across the border is going to take a long time no matter what the next President does. Yes, the border should be sealed and guarded. Yes, the illegals should mostly be deported. No, that won't solve the problems they've cause in anything like a few Presidential terms nor will it create a Congress with the spine to see any solution through.

You may well be able to return one or two thirds of the illegals to Mexico and other countries but that won't change the fact that wages have already fallen due to the abundance of illegals and there's no market mechanism that will raise those wages to their former level in less than a decade or so (and remember, the former wage level had already been stagnant since around 1974) since the industrial backbone of this nation has mostly been exported.

The final leg of turning the US into a nice One World chithole player is the destruction of the well paid jobs that H1-B Visa imports take from Americans. Fight that battle and roll back what losses we've already taken on that front and there's at least a chance that we can still rebuild without a default. Don't roll that back and fight that battle and the "Great Depression" isn't going to look any better in color news clips than it did in black & white news clips.

JMHo and never forget, opinions are like butt holes, everyone has one.
