Nowadays, when I hear “government” (Federal Government, in particular), I actually translate that in my head to “liar” and “threat to my freedom.”
“livestock” ordinarily means some kind of purpose or use.
I live in rural America. I provide my own 1/4 mile long driveway , septic and water. The only outside need I have is for electricity.
Thanks; people would get a lot less worked up about this issue if they understood the workings behind it. People willing to be caged (instead of relatively free-range, like working taxpayers) and accepting a low standard of living in return for a life of leisure with all necessities, and plenty of luxuries, provided by “makers”...No decisions to be made, no effort required for anything at all - just graze & grow.
They do have a purpose/use - but only to the public sector workers benefiting from having them as captive customers. Follow the money, and you’ll see why this has persisted for half a century.
Yeah, socialists think they only need to put the right people in charge to make socialism ‘work’.
OTOH, conservatives think we only need to elect the right people to . . .
That’s why I trust neither of them.
