Children Of Transgender Parents Deserve A Voice

Last month, America watched athletic hero Bruce Jenner come out transgender. But most Americans have no concept of what transgender means. Others who watched Jenner’s Diane Sawyer interview were family members whose lives have been affected by a transgender loved one. As I heard Jenner’s story, I felt saddened, and remember the grief I went through when my father came out to me as transgender. After all, this is undoubtedly emotional for all involved.

As a nine-year-old, my identity was still forming when my father took me aside, just the two of us, and told me of his desire to become a woman. Suddenly, the idea of being a girl and growing up to be a woman and a mom blurred. What does it mean to be a woman, or a man?

I no longer felt free to embrace my identity as girl in our home. I felt rejected by my father. I was too embarrassed of my father and his impact on our family to talk about it with anyone—even to my best friend. Even so, I loved my dad and desperately wanted him to serve in the capacity of being a father.

So, this year, when I wrote my amicus brief with the International Children Rights Institute, it was not out of revenge for my lost childhood, but rather out of concern for other children who might endure childhoods like the one I experienced. It should not only be only the adults whose voices are heard. The children who come from untraditional homes should be equally important.

Children Cannot Advocate for Themselves

If children cannot have a safe environment, whom does our culture serve? One mother shared with me a time when her husband—who began transitioning to a woman—took their young children to the grocery store.

We live in a selfish and prideful era. And no one is more selfish than these lost people. They put themselves first, ahead of all others. A little humbleness would help a great deal. But noooo "This is what I want!"

Why do liberals think a homosexual can’t change into a heterosexual but a man can change into a woman? One is tied to feelings and the other to anatomy. There is no comparison as to which would be more difficult to change. But according to liberal dogma, you are not allowed to change from homo to hetero even if you want to, but a man who wants to be a woman should be treated by everyone like a woman and even assisted in mutilating his body to resemble one. Of course his DNA cannot be changed but that matters not in liberal looney land.

Boggles the mind.

Many of us who opposed sham homosexual marriage and their agenda years ago said this would be the next stage.

You are being psychologically warfared. It’s up to you to defend yourself. See that homosexuals have an identity crisis like Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. They are not themselves. This is a war of energies. Stay calm and assertive.

Maybe it’s wrong to say Bruce Jenner is out of his mind, but he has definitely lost his marbles.

For such a small percentage of the US population, they sure make a lot of noise lately.

Gary Gates, co-author of "The Gay and Lesbian Atlas," released a detailed report on LGBT numbers in an April 2011 study from the Williams Institute. Among his findings:

• There are nearly 700,000 transgender individuals in the U.S., or 0.3% of the adult population.

• Of those who identify as transgender, a majority have taken some steps to transition from one gender to another.

• There are more than 8 million adults who identify as LGB in the U.S., or 3.5% of the adult population.

• An unknown number of transgender individuals also identity as LGB, so there is some overlap.

Why? Evil is evil and should be avoided.

But most Americans have no concept of what transgender means.

For those who don't know what "transgender" means:
trans·gen·der
transˈjendər,tranzˈjendər/
adjective
adjective: transgender; adjective: transgendered
denoting or relating to a person whose self-identity is totally nuts, delusional, or disconnected from reality.

MassResistance posted a photo from the “Pride” parade a few years ago of 2 lesbians. One wearing a “Daddy is a Tranny” shirt. They were with three boys they had adopted. I have seen happier faces on photos of TB addled children working in the coal mines of Victorian Wales.

These people should really have the decency to wait until their children are grown up. Or the brains to not get married in the first place.

Liberals are trying to say that a man in a dress and miming the most extreme female stereotypes proves there is no difference between genders.
Progressives think that a man taking massive amounts of hormones and surgery proves that that gender is fluid.

If you use the word "gender" when you mean "sex," you are contributing to the confusion.

As a tomboy girl, I oftent felt it would be better to be a boy.

But I was raised to realized that feelings are just that. Feelings. Feelings are not who
I am. Reason tells me I am a girl. Chromosomes with no y chromosome = I am a girl.

So I ignored feelings and eventually being a girl became what I also felt.

Reason is king. Feelings are fickle. Don’t listen to feelings.

Gender confusion, sexual confusion, race confusion, class confusion, religious confusion, moral confusion, reality confusion...all part of the same war on us and our once-great American society, by the Marxist-socialists that want totalitarian control willingly and freely given to them.
