If we makers would all flee California and just leave the takers

I relocated my business and my family from SoCal to North Texas almost ten years ago. Best damn move I ever made.

The only thing I miss, is the land itself.

I had to live in a rented bedroom in San Diego to keep my job for 5 years. The only compensation was I had a motorcycle for commuting and plenty of sunshine to enjoy it. I'm back home in Idaho. No commuting. Not nearly as much time riding my motorcycles. Sleeping in my own bed again. Seeing my wife daily instead of 10 days a year on visits for Christmas/wedding anniversary. Being able to buy anything I want at decent gun shops is a good deal too :-)

From the article, which no one has cited as yet. “Joe Beck, a Republican,...”

Turning blue states red one pensioner at a time and feeding the local economies with funding otherwise devoted to liberal causes in California. I see a red state win-win! After all, isn’t that what they’ve been told to do in countless comments on these boards? “Flee! Flee! Talk with your feet!”

As for taking the pension money they’ve earned to return it to the state they fled? Taxation without representation anyone? Where have I heard that before? Oh yeah.

Never mind.
