One of the radio commentators here in DC said that the Obama admin’s nuclear policy toward the iranians is pretty much the same as Clinton’s policy toward the North Koreans in 1994. That both had their genesis in Rosenbergs betrayal of nuclear secrets. The democrats in the USA in the early 50’s were generally sympathetic to the communists and hollywood especially so. It became an enduring legacy with a hundred ramifications.
