Yeah, I knew you’d take it as a “personal affront” and I still didn’t care. Amazing, huh?
If you ‘re so good at predictions why aren’t you rich?
That crazy old homeless guy on the corner is talking about “American jobs,” chem-trails, Bilderburgers, the shape-shifting reptilians and how Monsanto poisoned his llamas and put him out of work. Maybe you should look into him running for office?
What does that even mean?
Elections, it seems, don’t always have consequences -— especially when the leadership of the winning party colludes with the losing party to undermine the Constitution against the expressed wishes of the electorate.
I think I’d prefer someone of substance, as our next President.
Someone who is unapologetically for American jobs.
Trump seems to be the only one, anywhere, who meets that criteria.
In either party. It’s just Trump. There is still a whole heck of a long time until the election, but as of now, Trump is the only one.
Anywhere.
If you think he’s a person of substance I’m guessing you know very little about him. Perhaps you should start your research by reading his bio at Wikipedia and go from there.

Just some data to review.
:)
You predicted my response. Why don’t you use that talent to predict commodities prices or currency futures and get rich? I hope that was a simple enough explanation.
When you have no argument, go off on a tangent?
I’m as confused as the next person on this ridiculous vote. The dems IMHO are on the correct side of the issue, and the Senate Republicans are on the wrong side, so their has to be a political play going on. The problem is “they” remain silent on the reasons so far.
You expressed puzzlement at my post so I explained it the best I could. You’re welcome. If it was inadequate please accept my most sincere apology.
You don’t really want to hear the arguments. You just want to argue with anybody who doesn’t necessarily support the same candidate that you do, or even someone like me who hasn’t made that decision. I’m sure your chosen candidate would appreciate that one of his supporters is essentially telling undecideds that he doesn’t need their votes.
“I did. Not that impressed. So our favorite piñatas like Uncle Mitch get bashed for this, but others get a pass.”
Cruz did what Reagan did; support the principles of free trade.
“Reagan was a supporter of free trade.[20] When running for president in 1979, Reagan proposed a “North American accord”, in which goods could move freely throughout Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.[21] Largely dismissed at the time, Reagan was serious in his proposal. Once in office, he signed an agreement with Canada to that effect.[20] His “North American accord” later became the official North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), signed by President George H. W. Bush and ratified by President Bill Clinton.[21]”

It does not matter how you feel about free trade.
The fact that the details of this legislation is SECRET is enough reason for any right-minded conservative to vote against it.
The fact that it grants powers to the POTUS that it should not have is another reason any right-minded conservative should vote against this.
Cruz voted for it, then tells us Congress will have a check on any trade deal Obama negotiates....the same Congress that just voted for Obama's Iran deal and this SECRET deal.
I very much doubt that Trump is running. He likes to whip up the excitement, build up the drama, and at the last possible moment, Donald will say, due to unforeseen obligations, and family considerations, he’s not running THIS TIME. Watch and see what happens. Besides, Trump is pompous and too easily insulted by other GOP who are not in total agreement with him. William de Blasio could have taken ‘Bluster’ lessons from Donald.
That was before NAFTA. This is after NAFTA.
That was before a massive invasion of illegals. This is after.
That was open. This is secret.
That was Reagan. This is Obama.
The same GOP who just rallied behind Obama’s latest attempt to send American jobs to every other country, in the world, except America?
Which the democrats opposed?
That GOP? Because I am increasingly at odds with that GOP.
The only reason I am still strongly in the GOP is the 2nd Amendment.
I am not at all in favor of the GOP sending American jobs all around the globe.
Not at all.
This is part of Cruz’s press release:
“It requires the public posting of the full text of any such agreement for at least 60 days before Congress begins consideration and reaffirms that Congress gets the final say.”
Now, what if they don’t post it??.....like they have not posted anything for 3 days or 5 days, like they PROMISED over and over and over again?
Nothing happens.
Obama will make a trade deal in secret, demand Congress rubber stamp it under “emergency conditions”, and nobody will see the details until after it is passed.
I love that Cruz thinks we are so stupid as to believe legislation that is kept SECRET will create more TRANSPARENCY!!!!
I truly hope Cruz is right, but I know better. This is going to bite him really hard before the primaries when Obama violates all of it and demands it under some “authority” he has.
If there was legislation kept SECRET concerning repealing OBAMACARE, I'd be all for right-minded conservatives voting for it!
Cruz’s vote on this is either naive or cynical or just on board for increasing Obama’s already dangerous and regularly abused power. I can’t think of any other explanation. And that goes for any GOP senator who voted for this, not just Cruz.
