Yeah, I know it is a bit thin for a FR post, but it keeps me from swearing about the Republican Senators voting to give Obama fast track authority for his secret trade deal. Since Obama never wants anything good for the USA, it should have been a no-brainer.

Yeah, let’s commit suicide over one issue.

“Yeah, let’s commit suicide over one issue.”

Exactly. We need rescue, not some crack suicide squad.

Yeah, let’s commit suicide over one issue.

If it is true that this gives Obama authority to bring million more uneducated, poor people into our borders as citizens, then Cruz helped us commit suicide already.

We can still stop this in the House.

Meanwhile, I await Cruz's explanation.

Oh, you again. [sigh]

“’In my home state of Texas, there are over 2.2 million jobs that depend on exports,” Cruz said. “Trade benefits farmers, it benefits ranchers, it benefits manufacturers. When we open up new markets across the globe, it creates jobs and economic growth and opportunity here at home.’

But Cruz was also careful to thread the needle between being pro-business and still being a vocal critic of the Obama administration. When asked if he trusted Obama to negotiate a trade deal, Cruz said that he believed the administration could “do very little,” yet he was comfortable enough that Congress would have a vote on any deal the president negotiated.

‘The next 20 months are going to be very dangerous. The Obama administration has proven to be the most lawless and abusive in history, but one of the few areas where this administration has been willing to support positive economic policies is in the area of international trade,’ Cruz said, before going on to criticize his Democratic colleagues for standing in the way of TPA. Cruz jokingly classified President Obama’s disagreement with those in his party like Sen. Elizabeth Warren as “Democrat-on-Democrat violence.”

I did. Not that impressed. So our favorite piñatas like Uncle Mitch get bashed for this, but others get a pass.

Then don’t vote for him. No one here is going to follow you into the voting booth and force you to vote for someone. No one here is begging for your vote. Get over yourself.

I would not be surprised if we do not win at all. But I think the country has hopelessly tipped electorally in national elections. And I am not a pessimistic guy by nature.

Yeah, let’s commit suicide over one issue.

This one issue is a clear insight into the real lack of difference between the two national political parties. As push came to shove on this important issue, the GOP leadership and almost all of its Senate members revealed to us that they are willing accomplices in America's intentional suicide.

Here are three simple questions that no Republican traitor will directly answer:
How does the United States of America benefit from Congress ceding -- in advance -- it's right to amend a future trade treaty?
How does it benefit the United States of America for such "trade agreements" to be classified as state secrets that are shielded from open debate?
And how does it benefit the United States of America for Congress to voluntarily reduce the Constitutional requirement for a two-thirds vote to ratify these secret treaties -- which may now become law with only a simple majority vote?

I would like to hear these basic questions explained in plain language with no secrets withheld from the citizens whose nation is being altered.

There is no reason to vote for the grubering GOP, EVER.

The ultracorrupt, always lying, TEA Party-backstabbing,
GOP party supports Obama more than Sen. Warren on this.

If Republicans lose 2016, it can be traced to tonight's trade deception. At least with Hillary we will get Sex, Drugs and Lawrence Welk...

Since we don't know the content or implications of this secret bill, is not it very difficult to allege that it is limited to only one issue?
The Republicans had a massive victory in 2014, led by Senator Ted Cruz. The Republicans won at the local, State and Federal level.
For all the efforts of conservatives in supporting victorious Republican candidates, there has been little substantive bang for our bucks, and time, and work.
No matter how incompetent the government under the Obama Regime, or how arrogant, condescending and insincere the campaign by Mz Clinton, the Mainstream Republicans can still choose to lose in 2016.

Unlike some here I haven’t decided for whom to vote. But I”ll certainly remember things like this when I make a decision. And while you may not follow me into the voting booth or force me to vote for someone, you don’t hesitate to insult those who may not share your opinion or support of a particular candidate.

I like Drudge. His opinion is worth noting. I am not happy with the trade vote either. But I am not going with Rubio over others on this one issue alone. I will need more information on this secret deal as well as more information and display of general abilities before I choose.

Nobody else is.
