Belts on trains? They’re cattle cars, there’s as many if not more standing as sitting. What would that mean, sitting room only? Then again, maybe the government would want Amtrak to take over state and city railways.
Unless it is a commuter express there is plenty of room on trains. Hardly ever does anyone stand.
As far as belts? I am so sick of safety NAZIs. Being on a train is a treat and basically telling people they need to buckle in takes one of the great things about trains away: the freedom of movement. Are they also going to buckle up people in their sleepers? The hell with that.
