About one-third of the people killed by police are black. Presumably all of the other deaths (whites, Hispanics, Asians, American Indians) are justified, since there is never any media publicity about them.
The painful facts of the matter are: (1) blacks are far more likely than other demographics to engage in (criminal) acts that will cause the police to show up (2) blacks are far more likely to resist arrest (or even questioning) making it far more likely the police will have to take extra physical measures in settling the situation and (3) blacks are far more likely than other groups to attack the police questioning or arresting them making them far more likely than other groups to get themselves seriously injured or killed.
