It was mentioned in the article that they want to call on Community Leaders....to help “End The Violence”, so I suspect that Sharpton has already booked His flight to Baltimore.

It seemes to ME that theyre treating violence like its a entity unto itself!

That doesn’t matter, actually. Baltimore could flood the streets with cops right now and it wouldn’t make much difference.
Effective policing is a balance between deterrant and enforcement. There are never going to be enough cops to do full-up enforcement (and frankly we wouldn’t want there to be, for a variety of reasons), so you enforce up to a certain level and let that enforcement act as a deterrant to even more crime.
What’s happened in Baltimore is the perception that the cops are neutered and can’t enforce. That may not be true, but the perception of it being true has imploded the deterrent side of the equation.
I fully expected the “UPRISINGS”...to be considerably worse than what’s being reported!
Baltimore pastors and Christian laymen should take to the street corners to evangelize 24/7. JESUS is the answer.
They are probably rather disappointed that they just can’t seem to get the violence to spill out of the “urban core” and affect YT more.
Let’s see...
Chicago: 56 shot, 12 killed for a batting percentage of .214, heck, that’s barely above the “Mendoza Line.”
Baltimore: 28 shot, 9 dead for an average of .321, pretty respectable.
Baltimore is living proof that black lives really don’t matter to the politicians .
