FIFA’s general secretary, Michel Zen-Ruffinen, the second-highest-ranking official in soccer, said yesterday that he had evidence of corruption in the world governing body directly involving Sepp Blatter, FIFA’s president.
‘’It wasn’t a case of the president being bought, but it was a case of the president buying,’’Zen-Ruffinen said. ‘’In one of the cases an instruction was given on behalf of the president. The second one was a direct payment.’’
That was Chuck Blazer. In 2011 IRS got him for tax evasion and he made a deal to wear a wire to the meetings and turn all others in.
