he nation’s two-decades-long crime decline may be over. Gun violence in particular is spiraling upward in cities across America. In Baltimore, the most pressing question every morning is how many people were shot the previous night. Gun violence is up more than 60% compared with this time last year, according to Baltimore police, with 32 shootings over Memorial Day weekend. May has been the most violent month the city has seen in 15 years.

In Milwaukee, homicides were up 180% by May 17 over the same period the previous year. Through April, shootings in St. Louis were up 39%, robberies 43%, and homicides 25%. “Crime is the worst I’ve ever seen it,” said St. Louis Alderman Joe Vacarro at a May 7 City Hall hearing.

Murders in Atlanta were up 32% as of mid-May. Shootings in Chicago had increased 24% and homicides 17%. Shootings and other violent felonies in Los Angeles had spiked by 25%; in New York, murder was up nearly 13%, and gun violence 7%.

Americans have had things so good for so long that we are getting things backwards. This is what happens when you celebrate thugs and demonize cops.

Obama’s sons are running wild in the streets. Obama will have to declare a “national emergency”, federalize local police depts., and postpone the election.

Must be those pesky white Christian terrorist patriots who believe in the Constitution that are ramping up the crime rate, right? Not...

Exactly True !
It follows the Saul Alinsky program of anarchy and chaos
which is instrumental in the establishment of Communism.
Little wonder that he dedicated his book to Satan.

Little wonder why the UN AGENDA 21 wants us all to move and live in the city !
The current administration is more responsive to the UN AGENDA , than it's own citizens !!

If the billionaire-funded protestors do their jobs, and the “you didn’t build that” zombies can be lured away from their free meals and wi-fi in the lavishly funded public schools to riot in the streets while black mayors tell cops to stand down, we can perhaps get to the Nationalized Police Barrack dreams of before his term is up ...

Violent crime is largely a function of demographics. Demographics which are seldom, if ever, publicly acknowledged.

Except that liberal morons can’t make the connection:

Atlanta, St. Louis, NY, DC, Baltimore, Milwaukee. DUH.

The state of the culture today, following decades of "progressive" actions to censor from the public square the ideas essential to preserving liberty, might remind us of an excellent 1992 essay by Dr. Russell Kirk entitled, Civilization Without Religion?

The following excerpt is taken from Kirk's closing paragraphs:

"In short, it appears to me that our culture labors in an advanced state of decadence; that what many people mistake for the triumph of our civilization actually consists of powers that are disintegrating our culture; that the vaunted "democratic freedom" of liberal society in reality is servitude to appetites and illusions which attack religious belief; which destroy community through excessive centralization and urbanization; which efface life-giving tradition and custom.

History has many cunning passages, contrieved corridors
And issues, deceives with whispering ambitions,
Guides us by vanities.

So Gerontion instructs us, in T. S. Eliot's famous grim poem. By those and some succeeding lines, Eliot means that human experience lived without the Logos, the Word; lived merely by the asserted knowledge of empirical science--why, history in that sense is a treacherous gypsy witch. Civilizations that reject or abandon the religious imagination must end, as did Gerontion, in fractured atoms.

Restoring Religious Insights

In conclusion, it is my argument that the elaborate civilization we have known stands in peril; that it may expire of lethargy, or be destroyed by violence, or perish, from a combination of both evils. We who think that life remains worth living ought to address ourselves to means by which a restoration of our culture may be achieved. A prime necessity for us is to restore an apprehension of religious insights in our clumsy apparatus of public instruction, which --bullied by militant secular humanists and presumptuous federal courts --has been left with only ruinous answers to the ultimate questions.

What ails modern civilization? Fundamentally, our society's affliction is the decay of religious belief. If a culture is to survive and flourish, it must not be severed from the religious vision out of which it arose. The high necessity of reflective men and women, then, is to labor for the restoration of religious teachings as a credible body of doctrine.

"Redeem the time; redeem the dream," T. S. Eliot wrote. It remains possible, given right reason and moral imagination, to confront boldly the age's disorders. The restoration of true learning, humane and scientific; the reform of many public policies; the renewal of our awareness of a transcendent order, and of the presence of an Other, the brightening of the corners where we find ourselves such approaches are open to those among the rising generation who look for a purpose in life." - Dr. Russell Kirk, Civilization Without Religion?

So said Dr. Kirk in the Year 1992.

I honestly don’t know if these twittered Facebook social media planned events are really an actual increasing crime wave or just engineered activities designed to force hope and change on a slumbering electorate, to get them accustomed to seeing military vehicles on main street and willing to surrender their freedoms to that beast occupying the White House.

That is, the difference from being mere hoodlums and thugs protesting their right to tweet and take selfies in front of shattered storefront windows and flaming police cars vs. Christians in Iraq, Syria and Egypt being driven from their homes with nothing and left to wander about into the arms of Obama and John McCain’s ISIS monster, to certain death,

Which one really deserves hope the most,

Regardless, I do know that when we approach the end of the age, things will become bad, and certainly is increasing daily for believers in the middle east and other places right now,

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5

“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; “ Luke 21:25
